Seminars

Saturday, January 30, 2010 (2-4PM) Williamson County Library 1314 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN “Resolve to be Organized” is an inspirational and timely presentation at the Franklin library. Every year you say, “I’m going to be more organized this year” but for some reason, it never happens. It can! It’s a different world out there today, and your resolutions may focus on simplifying, streamlining and slowing down. Being organized can help you achieve your goals by making things easier in your life. I will present basic organizing principles, as well as tips and techniques to be more organized and keep those New Year’s resolutions. Here’s your chance to ask those questions and get some real answers about how to be organized – and stay organized! Contact Paige Hurst at 615-595-1250 to reserve your spot!

Tuesday, February 2, 2010 (6:30-8PM) Making Your Home Work: Tips & Techniques in Today’s Economy University School of Nashville In today’s market, many of us are choosing to stay in our current homes instead of move. Unfortunately, so many of us are left scratching our heads, wondering just how to do this. Let Lynn Taylor, Residential Designer and owner of Taylor Made Plans, show you how simple modifications to your existing home can make all the difference in how your home feels and works. Making the most of the space you have can often be accomplished, much more easily than you ever imagined. Let Liz Jenkins, Professional Organizer, guide you through the process of de-cluttering your home, using creativity in re-purposing your “stuff”, and making your space more useful and functional. In addition, she will explore how mindfulness and planning can save you time and money, while living a more frugal life. Being happier with less is a challenge, but an easy goal to attain when you know how. Both Lynn and Liz have years of experience working with clients that have downsized, rightsized and remade their homes and lives into what they truly want – and have both personally achieved their goals. Let them share their knowledge and experience to help you achieve yours.
