Recently NAPO Nashville co-chaired a Community Service Project at the Domestic
Violence Center’s offices in Murfreesboro. NAPO Nashville partnered with
the local Home Stagers (IAHSP) to organize and beautify these offices which
desperately needed a makeover. We purged, sorted, binned and labeled to help
these special people do the job they do so well – help women in need. Now
they can find the office supplies, files and forms when they need them, and
enjoy their space in this difficult, yet rewarding, job. Professional Organizers
Liz Jenkins, Samantha Pointer, Vanessa McPeak and BJ Jackson spent an entire
day at the Domestic Violence office organizing the File Room, Sexual Assault
Room, and the Hall Closet. After we finished our part the IAHSP came in and
did the staging for the Conference room, Front Office, and the Kitchen. All
felt it was such a worthwhile way to spend a day – with lasting results for
the staff. NAPO members are the best – and this project shows it!
